Historie
P. Hopman is a flower bulb exporter founded in 1868 in Hillegom, South Holland.
In this year, 1868, Mr P. Hopman started growing tulips and daffodils.
After the end of the Second World War, P. Hopman's son started supplying flower bulbs to parks in major cities of the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, among others.
In 2006, P. Hopman was acquired by WAM Pennings. WAM Pennings is a large flower bulb grower and has been in the flower bulb business for more than 60 years.
WAM Pennings was founded in 1951 by Wim Pennings. In 1979, his son Simon Pennings joined the company and has grown it to what it is today. Allan is the third generation to enter the business in 2020.

Since 2016, P. Hopman has been located in our new building at Delfweg 37 in Noordwijkerhout.
From 2020 onward, the building transforms into a museum every spring: the Tulip Experience Amsterdam, featuring a show garden with one million tulips in 700 different varieties.
